President Muhammadu Buhari's government and Benin Republic fighting over Sunday Igboho.

 

All efforts by President Muhammadu Buhari government to extradite Yoruba nation activist, Igboho, to Nigeria from Benin Republic has been abortive.

The authoritie of  West African nation have insisted on a fair trial for Igboho before yielding to the demand, SaharaReporters has gathered.

That Beninoisegovernment said it won’t handle a request for extradition without first trying him for the local offense he was arrested for, sources told SaharaReporters Thursday morning.
